Don your best Irish and join in Shamrock'n the Harbor!

Both the 5K and 12K are out-and-back courses that follow the gorgeous Cushman Trail, with a
few rolling hills to keep those legs awake and working; and for those taking on the 12K challenge, you'll get
an view of the Narrows from the iconic Tacoma Narrows Bridge.
All ages can get seriously Irish while jigging o’er the hills and dales along your Shamrock’n journey!

Please note that child registration under the age of 6
does not include event swag (t-shirt and water bottle), BUT will receive a participation medal!

This is a professionally timed run.
Timing is again being supported by Orbiter. RFID chips will be attached to your bib.

The 2025 STH run/walk is strictly limited to the first 500 registered participants

All proceeds benefit the Gig Harbor Senior Center – a great excuse to get outside while making a
huge difference. GHSC is the only organization specifically working to meet the needs of our community’s 60+ population through regular programs, activities and services that enable them to remain active and thrive!

5K/12K COURSES

Starting at the Cushman Trail Park, both courses head toward the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. 5K participants circle back to the finish line at the 2.5K post. The 12K course will take runners a distance across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge for an amazing bird’s eye view of the Narrows before turning back to the finish line.

START/FINISH: At the top of Olympic Dr. before it turns into Soundview Dr.; directly across the street from Olympic Village Shopping Center (5500 Olympic Dr., Gig Harbor, WA). Look for the big orange arch!

Children 6 and under do not receive run swag (t-shirt and water bottle), but do receive a participation medal, and are half price. Youth ages 6 to 12 register at discounted price and receive all run swag!

All finishers receive a well deserved Shamrock'n Run medal as they cross the finish line!

Parking for the event will be on the same side of the road as the start/finish, in the lower parking area of Soundview Park, Inc.
(5775 Soundview Dr., Gig Harbor, WA).

We highly recommend you pick-up your bib(s) and run packets on Friday, March 14th to avoid long lines on race morning - and waking up earlier than needed!

RULES & SAFETY

* No traffic or police monitors are promised to protect runners and walkers from vehicular traffic along the course.
* Participants must travel along the correct road shoulder or sidewalk and obey all traffic laws and signals.
* There will be aid stations along each course for any minor first aid needs.

Shamrock'n the Harbor is a fundraiser for the Gig Harbor Senior Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Per running industry policy, all entry fees are non-refundable. This applies to all entrants, no exceptions.

If the course must be changed or the event time changed due to circumstances beyond our control, there are no refunds or rollovers.
